Description: Zambia agreed to be part of the Renewable Readiness Assessment (RRA) roll-out project supported by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) to enhance deployment of renewable energy in Africa and globally. The RRA consultations have given Zambia the chance to more carefully consider how to exploit its extensive renewable energy resources. This will require technical, policy, regulatory and capacity readiness with specific regard to developing renewables.
