Description: We are recruiting for a large solar project in the Northern Cape, on behalf of the owner. The project has been running for three and a half years and is working towards completion. The building work is almost done.
What is left is the paperwork that proves it was built properly, and that is what this role is here to finish.
You will not be doing the building. The contractor does that. You sit on the owner side of the fence and make sure what the contractor hands in is complete, correct and on time. Every data pack has to be over the line before the project closes.
This is not a quality manager role and it does not need a quality qualification. It is a heavy administration role for someone who lives in spreadsheets and documents, and who can open a file and see straight away when something is not sitting right.
You report to the Quality Manager as your department head, and day to day you work directly with the Construction Manager and the Project Manager.
